Lietuvos policijai 100: Praeitis, dabartis, ateitis (2018) – Lithuanian Police Centenary Historical Photo Album & Monograph

Description

Delve into the visual and operational evolution of Baltic state security with **”Lietuvos policijai – 100: praeitis, dabartis, ateitis”** (Lithuanian Police – 100: Past, Present, Future).

Commissioned in 2018 to mark the absolute centenary of the founding of the national police force, this substantial volume serves as a comprehensive visual encyclopedia. It explicitly tracks the pivotal role of law enforcement through the most dramatic turning points of 20th-century European history: from the early democratic state building of 1918, through the turbulent decades of geopolitical shifts and occupations, to the restoration of independent police structures in 1990.
