Description

The album Picasso. Transformations accompanies the exhibition of Picasso’s works at the National Museum in Warsaw. The 314 reproductions included in the album correspond to the collections presented during this exhibition. It includes works from different periods of his work, from different collections – paintings, graphics, ceramics, posters.
The introduction by Dorota Folga-Januszewska presents Picasso’s connections with Poland, with particular emphasis on Picasso’s stay at the Peace Congress. The introduction is supplemented by a Calendar presenting the artist’s entire biography. The text is illustrated by previously unpublished archival photographs related to Picasso and his stay in Poland.
