Photographer Arūnas Baltėnas’ book “From Monday to Sunday” is a collection of portraits and short stories in the first person, capturing more than a hundred professions and their representatives – from a microsurgeon or a jazz musician to a seamstress, a digger or a trolleybus driver. Each of them has their own story, voice and relationship with work. These stories give the book intimacy and authenticity – the reader becomes like an interlocutor, sitting next to a person who works and talks about their work.
